Casino Gives Gas Cards to Customers for Rewards

Foxwoods Resort Casino continues to shower its loyal customers with great rewards and giveaways, the latest of which is the gas card sale last Tuesday.

The said sale offered great deals for the casino's Wampum points earners to redeem their points and exchange them for gas.

The promotion offered Wampum Rewards Card holders the opportunity to exchange the points they earned from playing at the casino for a Gas Cash Card, which can then be honored at Exxon and Mobil stations.

A point earned can be exchanged for one dollar worth of gasoline at the casino's Wampum Rewards Store, where points are usually swapped for merchandise.

The casino's VP for Marketing and Entertainment Tom Cantone said that the promotion was such a huge hit that they opened three more sites just to handle thousands of people lining up at the store.

They also organized a grand ballroom on the second day to control the numerous gamblers.

Judy Kelly from Massachusets said that she and her husband drove to the casino just to get a gas card. "This is great. It's better than a T-shirt."

Kelly hoped to get $850 worth of gasoline, but the casino gave a limit of $500 for each player.

Customers from Connecticut commented that it's worth waiting just to get a gas card considering prices of gas average $3.23 per gallon.

The casino will offer again the 2-day promo next month.
